TRAVEL "b" ABOUT US    League play: The Admirals Hockey Club participates in the North West Hockey (NWHL) Travel “B” League. With a no cut policy, the number of teams formed at each level will be determined by the number of players at evaluations for the particular level. In the case of ice constraints or excess player registrations, players will be allocated to teams based on registration date or post-mark date (deference will be given to returning players). The Admirals will evaluate players prior to each season and balance their teams to achieve parity. Games are played against teams designed similarly within surrounding communities. The intent is to achieve parity of competition and “balanced ice time” (BIT) between all players on a given team. Players should expect their fall season to include a practice each week, eight additional practices (rollovers), six S.T.A.R. skills clinics, power skating and goaltending clinic each week, and a home or away game approximately each week. Teams are automatically entered in the Admirals Flagship Christmas Tournament. Additionally, teams will participate in at least one end of season tournament and may elect to participate in other tournaments throughout the season.
