USA Hockey Membership

USA Hockey membership provides you with valuable information, a USA Hockey magazine subscription and, most importantly, additional insurance coverage at the rink.  Membership is free for players age 6 and under and $43 for players age 7 and older.  This is a one-time annual expense for all hockey players at all age levels, including coaches.  Membership is required for all pre-hockey participants after the first two free dates.  Prior to the first date of the session, you will be required to provide a printed copy of your child’s USA Hockey registration receipt OR the registration number assigned to you.  Register online at http://www.usahockeyregistration.com

Minimum Equipment Needed

  • Hockey skates (rental available at rink)
  • Stick**
  • Helmet with face mask**

  • Hockey knee/shin guards and elbow pads are strongly recommended

NOTE: The two most important pieces of equipment your child will have will be their skates and helmet. Buy these two items from a hockey specific shop NOT from a general sports store.
