Summer Pre-Hockey runs July 2 - August 13, 2025 on Saturdays

Classes are held at Center Ice of DuPage in Glen Ellyn and are open to boys and girls aged 4-12 from all communities.
Requirement to Participate
Skaters must pass the Center Ice Skating Academy Hockey Alpha 2 program (includes Forward strides, Forward crossovers, One foot snow-plow stop, Backward swizzles, Backward C-cuts).
USA Hockey Membership
USA Hockey membership provides you with valuable information, a USA Hockey magazine subscription and, most importantly, additional insurance coverage at the rink. Membership is free for players age 6 and under and $43 for players age 7 and older. This is a one-time annual expense for all hockey players at all age levels, including coaches. Membership is required for all Admirals players, including Pre-Hockey players. Register online at:http://www.usahockeyregistration.com.

Hockey knee/shin guards and elbow pads are strongly recommended
NOTE: The two most important pieces of equipment your child will have will be their skates and helmet. Buy these two items from a hockey specific shop NOT from a general sports store.
