Admirals Hockey Club

Thank you to all of the families, players, coaches, hockey directors, and volunteers for their participation in tryouts and evaluations this past week.  We experienced yet another increase in membership this fall of approximately 25%.  I would like to welcome back all of our existing families as well as welcome all of the new families to our great organization.  All of our programs, teams, and leagues have seen steady growth this fall.  I am also excited to see our Girls program expand with teams at the U12 and U14 levels.

While we continue to focus on player development and advancement, our goal is to provide an opportunity for any hockey player of any skill level or gender a place to play.  We will continue to embrace, support, and expand all of our programs as our players continue to develop.  We will again be submitting an application to join CSDHL next year, and we will continue to pursue Midget and Girls U16 programs as our players age up.

I am excited to get this season under way with practices and skills sessions starting this week.  Please check our website for updates to team calendars as schedules are posted.  So let's lace up the skates and have some fun!  Good luck and have a great season!

Registration is still open for the Admirals Developmental Mite League (ADML), Pre-Hockey, and No Check fall programs.  Players can join mid-session as space allows.  See the details and registration links under the Programs & Registration section of the site.

Special thanks to Michele Amidon from USA Hockey for sharing her years of experience with our players, coaches, and parents on August 14.  She gave a parent seminar on female athletes and girls hockey, ran dryland training, and led an incredible on-ice practice!
